Hello!

I am Mei Yamato, a Web and Graphic Designer with 4 years experience. I’ve worked in-house for the Japanese ladies only fitness company Bodies(ABC Capital) and freelanced for different local businesses in Canada including Style and Grace Tiny Homes and Nanaimo Waterfront Vacation Rentals(Tokyo Brian). Much of my focus in design has been put towards print and digital design, but I’m constantly engaged in all aspects of the art from branding to art direction.

Aside from my design skill-set, I have experience in user research, SEO planning, coding(HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP) and customer service. This experience allows me to effectively work with other team members and customers.

In my free time, I enjoy going hiking with my dog, running and working out with my friends, and photography.
